Katie graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2013 with Certificates in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.  In law school, she served as a student mediator and graduate assistant for the Small Claims Mediation Clinic.

While studying for the Illinois Bar Examination, Katie worked full-time as an attorney for a civil litigation firm in Milwaukee.  There, she represented plaintiffs in employment, personal injury, worker’s compensation and civil rights matters in both state and federal court.

In May of 2014, Katie returned to her home state of Illinois to join a worker’s compensation defense firm.  In that practice, Katie represented insurance companies and self-insured employers in both Illinois and Wisconsin.

In my spare time, I like to travel and be with my large family.  I enjoy spending summers in Lake Geneva with my husband, parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews.  I also enjoy cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers and try to go to at least one football game every fall.
