Adriel Zupances

Originally born in Chicago, Mr. Zupances did not have much time to experience the city before his parents moved the family to Louisville Kentucky. After attending high school across the Ohio River in Southern Indiana, Mr. Zupances made his way back up north and attended Purdue University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and received his BA in Political Science. Mr. Zupances attended law school at the University of Louisville and even found time for an internship with the IRS in their Louisville office.

It was during his law school summers that Mr. Zupances finally made his way back to Chicago where he clerked at a law firm specializing in toxic tort defense work. Upon completing law school, Mr. Zupances took a position at this firm and began working in the field of asbestos litigation. In his 10-years with this firm, Mr. Zupances participated in over a thousand depositions across the county on behalf of multiple corporate clients. It was through this work that Mr. Zupances learned the importance of preparing for a witness and understanding how even the littlest detail could come to play a huge role later in a case.

Mr. Zupances joined Patton & Ryan in 2018. He had heard of Patton & Ryan’s reputation as top trial lawyers and knew that their attorneys were well equipped to handle cases across the spectrum. Besides Illinois, Mr. Zupances is also licensed in Georgia.
