Alex attended Ohio University and received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He also attended the University of Iowa, where he received his Juris Doctorate. While there, he worked in the law school’s legal clinic focusing on general litigation and employment law. In law school, he was President of both the Iowa Student Bar Association and the Jewish Law Students Association. He also was an Associate Editor for the Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems journal, helping student writers focus their legal notes and working to help get them published.
After graduating, Alex worked for a Plaintiff’s-side employment discrimination and consumer fraud firm. While there, he took and defended depositions, worked closely with clients and worked passionately to achieve the best outcomes for all his clients whether it was through settlement, arbitration or mediation proceedings.
