Davy was born in a remote province of Cambodia and decided to leave home at a very young age to study English and pursue her education in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A promising student; Davy was awarded a prestigious 4-year scholarship from the Harpswell Foundation, which afforded her the opportunity to attend the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh. After graduating from RULE with dual bachelor’s degrees in law, she joined the Phnom Penh branch of the Kevin Chia Partnership—an international law firm based in Singapore—as a legal advisor.
In 2016, Davy moved to the United States to pursue a law degree at DePaul University College of Law. At DePaul, Davy was privileged to compete in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, worked in DePaul’s Advanced Mediation Clinic, and served as a staff editor for the DePaul Journal on Women, Gender, and the Law. Outside of school, however, Davy clerked at a well-known defense law firm in Chicago where she aided in worker’s compensation, employment, and general negligence cases. Shortly after being admitted to the bar in 2019, she eagerly joined Patton & Ryan for the opportunity to litigate in insurance defense cases.
