Jason has practiced in the areas of Domestic Relations and Housing. Within the area of domestic relations, he has protected his clients’ rights and interests at trial and contested hearings in proceedings related to divorce, orders of protection, child custody and support. Within the area of housing, Jason has protected property owners’ rights to reclaim their investment property by working with property owners and tenants to mitigate damage to property and loss of income to his clients. His holistic approach to the practice of law has been effective in negotiations and as a litigator.
Jason’s legal experience includes investigative project work in the area of class action litigation related to the lending practice of financial institution. Additionally, he has worked on projects examining employee conduct in the area of investment securities. Jason also volunteers his time fighting for client rights in asset forfeiture cases.
Throughout law school Jason clerked in the Connecticut Trial Courts. His work included extensive Civil and Family Law experience as well as coordination of the County’s Civil Law Calendar. His exposure to case preparation and evidence management during bench and jury trials relating to matters such as breach of contract, defamation, wrongful death and domestic relations cases prepared him for his career as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst and as an Attorney. After graduating from law school Jason was fortunate to put is legal experience and education to use in the healthcare field where he where he successfully aligned organizational priorities with federal healthcare regulations as a Compliance Analyst.
In addition to his legal work, Jason has been a leader in the healthcare industry. As a Director in both psychiatric and medical hospital settings his oversight of hospital admissions and safety improved access to healthcare for community residents and those in desperate need of healthcare resources.
