A native of Evanston, Jimmy attended DePaul University for both undergraduate and law school. While there, he spent much of his time in mock trial courses, clinics, and litigation lab courses to better understand how to present a case on behalf of his clients. In law school, he was a lead mentor for the Academic Success Program, helping other students with whatever topic they were struggling with. He additionally served as a Senator on the Student Bar Association, leading the Faculty and Curriculum committees, sitting in on faculty meetings and offering the student perspective on university initiatives and programs.
After graduating, Jimmy began as a solo practitioner before moving into plaintiff’s personal injury, where he honed his writing and oral advocacy skills, conducted dozens of depositions, and achieved success on behalf of his clients in Mandatory Arbitrations, Hearings, and Trials alike. Since joining Patton and Ryan, his goal has not changed from achieving the best possible outcome for his clients at whatever step of litigation it may be achieved.
