John A. King

Associate

John King was born and raised in the North Suburbs of Chicago. His interest in litigation began in Law School when he interned with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and learned the process of criminal litigation through the Felony Review department. There, he also learned how to litigate legally complex and emotionally charged cases.

He transitioned into civil litigation upon graduation, working Plaintiff’s Personal Injury cases where he handled all aspects of trial preparation. He led or participated in more than a dozen trials, in cases ranging from car accidents and workers’ compensation claims to wrongful terminations and evictions.

John is now taking his unique perspective to Patton & Ryan, where he is working to defend personal injury and premises liability cases.
