Kelly L. Ferron

Kelly is a skilled civil litigator, with considerable practice experience in both state and federal courts in states across the United States. Kelly was able to secure a position as a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office in Miami, Florida while still in law school. While working for the PD’s office, Kelly accrued significant courtroom and deposition experience representing juveniles and adults charged with various crimes from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Although Kelly later made the decision not to continue practicing criminal law, she found that her time in court as a Certified Legal Intern greatly prepared her for her future in the civil arena.

After her admission to the Florida bar, Kelly began practicing civil litigation defense. During this time she focused on an array of complex matters including catastrophic injury, wrongful death and transportation matters along with products liability cases and general civil litigation defense.

By 2015, Kelly was ready to return to the Midwest, and relocated to Chicago. She waived into the Illinois bar and joined Patton & Ryan, LLC shortly thereafter. Licensed in Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin, Kelly now focuses her practice on the defense of catastrophic injury and/or wrongful death cases, product liability matters, transportation and general civil litigation defense.
