Nicholas V. DeAgostino

Nick is an experienced trial attorney who focuses his practice in complex personal injury litigation, auto accidents, construction law, premises liability, medical malpractice, and insurance defense litigation.

After gaining admission to the Illinois Bar in 2009, Nick worked for several years focusing in civil litigation at both plaintiff and defense firms in Chicago, expanding his practice in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and jury trials in both Illinois State and Federal Courts.

While working for the defense, Nick defended businesses, insurance companies and their insureds which helped him further develop his litigation skills by learning how to defend a lawsuit and how coverage issues factor in to a client’s given case strategy and attempts at resolution.  As a former plaintiff’s attorney, Nick has successfully tried numerous jury trials to verdict in Cook County awarding significant amounts of money to his clients who had been victimized as a result of severe personal injuries.

As an associate at Patton & Ryan, Nick applies the litigation skills and experience he has gained over the past several years as a foundation to defend and litigate cases involving catastrophic loss, brain injury, medical malpractice, construction defense and premises liability on behalf of the firm’s numerous clients.
