Patrick A. Becht is a highly motivated and talented trial attorney and counselor at law. His broad range of legal practice includes representing and counseling clientele in complex civil litigation, commercial transactions, and general corporate law. By focusing on communication and detail-oriented strategy for his clients, Patrick can efficiently satisfy their goals with positive results. His effective resolution of legal disputes utilizes progressive techniques in the negotiation, mediation, and arbitration of damages with the potential for expedient legal victory. Patrick’s legal advice also serves beneficial to our clients by protecting, enforcing, and commercializing their proprietary information and intellectual property rights. This includes government affairs and regulatory compliance efforts before our administrative tribunals.

Prior to joining our firm in 2019, Patrick gained valuable experience in complex civil litigation after he served as a Deputy Prosecutor for the State of Indiana, with a proven successful track record as the first-chair in dozens of both jury and bench trials and evidentiary hearings. Patrick has also gained a unique perspective for the judicial, legislative, and administrative process through his prior work with the City of Dayton, the Ohio Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the United States Senate. During law school in addition to his studies as a social justice scholar, Patrick received exceptional distinction for his advocacy performance in Trial Practice at the University of Dayton School of Law. Patrick also received the Pro Bono Commitment to Community Award for his volunteer work at Prairie State Legal Services on behalf of individuals faced with bankruptcy and default in mortgage foreclosure. Patrick’s desire to support and improve his community began at a young age while earning his Eagle Scout Award by managing a charitable service project to collect food, clothes, and toys for his local school districts and churches.  In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and traveling while remaining involved in various political campaigns and fundraising.
