Spencer A. Jackson

Associate

A native of Peoria, IL, Spencer Jackson joined the Patton & Ryan team in 2019. Spencer Jackson is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law.

During law school, Spencer was on the Southern Illinois University Law Journal where he served as Articles Editor. Spencer was awarded best articles editor by his peers for his commendable writing and proofreading skills. Spencer also has an article published in Volume 42 No. 2 of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal titled “A Ding to the Head: How Concussions and Domestic Violence Impact the NFL in the Next CBA”. In addition to his academic duties, Spencer was also a member of the Black Law Student Association.

Prior to joining Patton & Ryan, Spencer gained valuable experience at an insurance defense firm where he managed a caseload of 50 cases and drafted a summary judgment motion that brought a $2 million-dollar plaintiff demand down to $100,000 settlement. Now at Patton & Ryan, Spencer will bring his experience in legal research, client interaction, and trial preparation to be a zealous advocate for his clients.
