Thomas C. Flowers

Having started his legal career while still in high school, Thomas has a long history of legal experience. While clerking at several prominent law firms in Chicago before and during his undergraduate attendance at the University of Notre Dame, he gained an appreciation for the intricacies of civil litigation. Attending DePaul’s College of Law during the evenings, Thomas simultaneously clerked and managed the legal support departments at several law firms during the day.

Before being asked to join the practice of Patton & Ryan, Thomas started his licensed career as a commercial litigator, focusing on contract disputes between financial entities. He then took the opportunity to practice plaintiff’s class action work with a successful complex litigation firm, having helped litigate and settle numerous cases in the Federal court system.  Thomas currently focuses his practice on insurance litigation defense in the areas of medical malpractice, product and premises Liability as well as transportation litigation and general liability. He brings his experience and enthusiasm to the team of Patton & Ryan.
