Associate
Treyana is an Associate Attorney at Patton & Ryan, LLC. Prior to her current role, Treyana graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School, formerly known as The John Marshall Law School. Treyana began law school as a part-time evening student while simultaneously working full-time as an Operations Manager/Appeals Coordinator for the Illinois State Charter School Commission. After her first year of law school, Treyana enrolled as a full-time student to maximize academic opportunities and establish her legal career. Throughout her time in law school, Treyana served in various roles, including: Executive Board member for the Student Bar Association and as a member of the law school’s prestigious trial advocacy team where she was recognized as a Regional Quarterfinalist in the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition. Upon obtaining her 711 license in 2018, Treyana went on to serve as a Senior Intern for her law school’s Fair Housing Legal Clinic and as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Since graduating from law school in 2019, Treyana began her legal career in public service working as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. During her time as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Treyana worked in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau where she developed skills as an effective litigator. As an Associate Attorney at Patton & Ryan, Treyana zealously advocates for the firm’s clients in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense.
